The Glencoe Marathon
The Glencoe Marathon is a tough, off-road run starting from Glencoe, taking in the infamous Devil’s Staircase and then crossing through the Mamores, finishing under the shadow of Ben Nevis.
The event starts at the Red Squirrel camp site, and the runners pass Clachaig Inn, a perfect spot to cheer them on with a coffee and bacon sandwich in hand!
In addition, for those not quite ready for the full marathon distance, there’s a shorter half marathon starting from Kinlochleven, and a 10k run in Glen Nevis.
