The Tonkerers
The Tonkerers are a lively 5 piece band who perform mainly covers and traditional songs in a variety of musical styles drawing on folk, country, reggae and pop influences.
They deliver a crowd pleasing mix of entertainment with energy and a sense of fun enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
The band takes its name from an incident in Falkirk High Street in 1624, when the town drummer, George Brocklay was accused of “drinking and tonkering ye drum at unreasonable hours on ye sabbath morne”
