So expect a full and rotating range of ales for the middle fortnight and we'll present as many as trade dictates that we can for the opening and closing weeks. Adele loves the Scottish hills, has climbed all around the world and has made ascents of numerous Himalayan Giants including Everest, Cho-oyu and Manaslu. In 2010 she returned from Makalu where she turned back just 150m from the summit in a battle of survival. In 2011 Adele faced her fears and went back to Makalu, this time succesfully reaching the summit. Adele's talk 'Summit & Survive' will relive these experiences and highlight how safety and common sense are key in survival in the mountains. |

Davy draws on his life time experience in the Scottish Mountains, in his lecture on Avalanche Awareness.
